I was deep in Throne of Secrets Book 1 when the idea demon hit, and instead of fighting it, I let it run. The result: a M/M, a F/F, and a M/F contemporary all sitting in draft, because apparently my brain wanted to build three things at once.
I'm not mad about it. They're good.
Here's the trade I'm making, though. I want to round out all three series with more contemporary, and I want these ones to have more depth: real romance to carry the heat, not just the heat on its own. That means longer books, which means I probably can't hold to a weekly drop while I get them right. The quiet stretch these past few weeks was me doing that work, not slacking on it.
What you get in return: a cluster of releases once editing cooperates. I'm not going to slap a number and a date on it and then make a liar of myself, but it'll be worth the wait, and it'll be a lot at once.
After that, I push into Throne of Secrets properly. The first two books, back to back. Both plotted. The first already drafted.
Anyway.
Keeping the Size Difference Gods satisfied is sometimes a full-time job.
